Born in Olafsvik, Iceland in 1932.

Studied at the Academy of Art of Reykjavik and got his diploma in Art in 1951.

Painted frescoes and engraves in Academy of Art in Oslo in 1952-54. He did many travels in Europe, Americas, U.R.S.S and in the Fare East in the '60-'70.

JENNY  HOLZER

Born in Galliopolis, Ohio in 1950.

She enrolled in Duke University's liberal arts program in 1968 and later attented the University of Chicago. In 1972, she completed her undergraduated work at Ohio University, Athens, with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. In 1975, she emtered the master of fine arts program at the Rhode Island School of Design where she began her first work with language.

Lives and works in Hoosick, New York.

Born in Seoul (Korea), the fifth son of a textile manufacturer in 1932. Fled from the Korean War, first to Hongkong, and later to Japan. Graduated from the University of Tokyo, concluding his studies of the History of Art and the History of Music with a thesis on Arnold Schönberg in 1956. Studied the History of Music at Munich University, studied Composition at Freiburg Conservatory in 1956-58. Lives and works in New York, teaches at Staatliche Kunstakademie, Düsseldorf, and has a second home in Bad Kreuznach.
