Could the tanks of the People’s Liberation Army destroy the Goddess of Democracy forever?

Students of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing appropriated the Statue of Liberty to create this powerful symbol (center). She was erected in Tiananmen Square on May 30th , but by June 4th it had been torn down. She continues, however, to be seen in replications around the world.

We are certain that one-day, sharing her genome and possessing the same look and lofty spirit, more children will arise in the fertile land of China.
